Default NITTO or Sumitomo?

Ok just like the title says....

NITTO
http://www.americanmuscle.com/nitto-...315-35-17.html

or

Sumitomo
http://www.americanmuscle.com/sumito...315-35-17.html

i dont want to get the drag radials cuz they only have "Tread Wear: 3.1" and that is unacceptable for me

Out of thoes two I'd pick the nitto tire. From what I hear about threadwear, the Nittos will last just as long as a the Sumis, but the Nittos have more traction. If you were to go with a Sumitomo tire pick the HTR Z III but they don't make thoes in 315, 295 is the widest and thats what I have.

I wish they made sumi HTRZIIIs in 315...I'm replacing my front tire with those but guess I have to stick with the crappy ones for the rear.

I have Nitto's right now and I like them. Great traction, seems to be good wear, and I'll most likely stick with them when I have to get another set of tires.

Actually after getting these tires from Ziggy I recommend the Toyo Proxes TS4's. You can get them for like $140/ea from your local tire shop (probably less online) and they're a GREAT all weather tire. Really sticky in the dry and I have not hydroplaned once in the wet even at 70+ Mph on the interstate. Haven't seen any wear yet and honestly I'm pretty abusive on tires.

The nittos are a much better tire and last longer, get them instead.

But they wear out almost twice as fast. Its worth the money to get a tire that last much longer then the crappy performing sumi's.

Nittos...I've got them on mine and I love them (as much as you can love a tire anyway). Great wear, they hook good and they're all you can want out of a performance street tire.

unless your just looking for rubber thats molded in a circular shape and goes on rims...lol...go with the nittos though. I had an auto putting 275 to the wheels and with WOT they would break loose just a little from 1st to 2nd shifts. But i had a shift kit and 4.10s also...and a 3800 stall.
