White Rims
I am thinking about getting a new white 04 mustang. i like to have an idea of what i would like to do to the car before i buy it, and one thing i want to do is put white rims on it.
I was wondering how easily the rims get dirty from the brake dust and other stuff on the road

They will need to be cleaned A LOT. They will always be dirty from break dust so this thread will end with the decision of how much time you want to spend cleaning them. It's not hard to clean them though, not if you like the look.

Indeed, my brother had white cobra R rims on his white 94 v6 mustang, they looked pretty good. Werent a bitch to clean, all things considered we do not neglect our cars, so he would just clean the car weekly or w/e and they would look sexy all the time.

The only thing that would suck is that they would have to be kept clean and that would mean wiping them down a lot.

OK, I know this post is "old", but I just seen it. I had a white 84 GT Turbo with the factory aluminum rims with the 16 square holes around the outside perimeter. I scuffed 'em up and painted them white. I don't have any pics, but it looked real good. The 16 holes would be a bigger bitch to keep clean, and I managed to do it with them.
Also, of course you cant do alot about road grime, but if brake dust is a concern, opt for the ceramic, or a step up in pads...unless you already have them- in which case youre good to go anyway.
If you end up doing it, please post some pics.
