Met a guy the other day that had 22's on his 06 and he hated them.He said with the thin tires the rims were getting bent everytime he drove it and was going back to 20's.

And please don't put those ugly wheels on a Stang!

If those are the rims you are going for they will look fine to you maybe a little thin find somthing 9 inches wide if you can.

personal opinion: they aren't going to look good man I'm sorry

Those wouldn't look that bad if the spokes were longer so that the circular area in the middle of the wheel wasn't so big. And if it didn't have a huge centercap on it covering the lugs

Sure won't look as good as a 20x10 in the rear:

Your tire would probably be like half the width of that haha

I went to Tirerack.com and did a little searching and came up with this:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Option...06&autoModClar=

I think the 22's may be too tall and they might rub when you turn, but I don't know anything about that kind of stuff. My cousin put 23" wheels on his Chevy Blazer this weekend and he actually had to grind the fenders down, and they still rub horribly. He can't even turn a corner at full turn anymore.

I think the width (8.5) will be okay all around and will fit fine, but you may run into some rubbing and grinding problems in the future with the height (22) of that wheel.

Good luck to you either way!

yeah that will do. There's only two choices of tires on tirerack for that size so not much of a decision to make on that one haha

no. if the rim was a lot wider, a 245 width tire would not fit right. but 245 on an 8''' rim looks just right, so a 245 on an 8.5'' rim would make the sidewall lean in some, but not all 245's are the same width, so it does depend on the brand as well for actual tire width.

Not that noticable... i have 245's on my front 9in wide rims and they lean in a little, but ive never had anyone say they look strange, probably because they still have a slight outward budlge. but they would be better off with a 275.. on an 8.5inch tire i think 245 will look fine.

Hey, if you don't give us a reason to we won't. As for tire sizes, I've got 275s on my 8.5s and they look just right. Very little roll or "flubber"....

I liked the rims that you had on your other sixer better than those personally. Is that for sure the style your getting?

If you are going to go with 22 and we all know you are go with thinner spokes they will look better otherwise they end up looking like shiney man hole covers

I could see that comment being sent off course by some of the people that don't read all the way through the thread. I'm just tired of the bi***fights, probably because I've been a part of the majority of them. But still, it's enough.
