18's are as big as anyone should go. Also keep in mind that bigger rims slow the car down down too.

Haha, nice Gotti. FTW!!!

If he wants 20's, he can get 20's. i hope he is happy with them. That way he wont learn the hard way that he should have gotten 17's or 18's.... ftw of course.

my 20's are 225 each, the bullitts on here are like 180 and they are wider and stuff. 7.5 inch wide sucks, looks like bicycle tires.

I ask this because I like the look of the 20" deep dish bullit rims on the rear but not on the front because it's too much in the front... I'm thinking the 18 in the front 20 in the rear would give my 04 gt a unique staggered look.. any opinions on this??? I know I might get flamed for this one...

.... STAY AWAY FROM 20s.

Guys with 20s are the ones that we post pictures of and laugh at.

18s MAX. 18x9 and 18x10 315s in the back

You want your car to get attention..but not the bad sort..like "what the **** was that guy thinking" sort of attention.

Any other mustang enthusiast that knows wtf hes doing will laugh his *** off at you..

I was just curious if anyone has done the 18-20 stagger with the wheels here ... I'm not trying to comform to what the majority thinks about 20' inch wheels because each his own... I love my gt but there are a lot of mustangs out there and I want to make mine different than the next... If you like 20's on you stang thats cool ... if you like 18's or 17's thats cool too... I have a open mind about it... I have seen 20's all around on a 99-2004 mustang (depending on style) that look awsome compared to some 18's on stangs I have seen... 22's would definately be too much in my opinion but that's my opinion and if thats what someone likes then let it be..

I disagree... we are talking a two inch difference in the rear... In my opinion 20's can be nice looking on a mustang but the weight on the front with 20's is not desirable for me..... to each his own....

I know I will get somemore disagrement with my opinion... But hey I'm just a fng on this message board... I'm just glad some of you 17" 18" only guy's don't run the country cause if you did I would be in jail for having 20's on my gt...

I see that 20"s are not politically correct here.... Makes me likem even more..hehe

20s dont match the car...unless you're blind to what matching is..

A 2 inch stagger is retarded...the nose of your car would be planted in the asphault..

those 20's slow you down dude, that is one of the reasons a lot of people here dont like them, plus they just look rediculous on a sn95 or newedge. they look right on the 05+.

i personally dont understand the whole idea of getting the biggest rim you can find, it makes more sence to me to find a rim that actually fits with the car and compliments the car rather than dominates it.

but if you want to slow your car down with 20 inch rims so you can catch the people laughing at you for having rediculously big rims on yer car, well, thats all your perrogative.

but dont come in actling like her hard cause you want to slow yer car down and make it look like a donk. nobody is overly impressed. lol

I HAVE seen some SN95's with 17's in the front and 18's in the rear, they did look pretty slick.

i HIGHLY reccommeend looking at pics of stangs on 20's before you buy them.

That aside, welcome to the boards man, go hit up the "Introduce yourself" section and introduce yourself and post some pics of yer ride!

other muscle cars can pull it off better....

i agree it is a sweet look, but the body shape of the newedge sn95's (which im assuming you drive) might look kind of funny.

you would definatly have to DROP it in the rear,. maybe fold the fenders up a little.

my friend has 17 front and 19 rear on his 35th anni.
he has no drop on his mustang. the front of it looks like its lowered at least 2.5 inches and the back appears jacked up. the 2 inch difference wont put ur nose on the ground but the frog comment i kinda found true and funny, once i thought about it. he just kept the weight in the front light so he can lift the nose a bit when a civic or somethin comes beside him. as for you being so confident about ur 20s being the king **** of the road, i believe the saying was for every extra inch of rim, you loose .5 seconds of ur time. so immagine what ur car could potentially do with a stock 16 inch or even those 18 inch rims.

devil - the only cars i affiliate myself with are muscle cars. ever since i moved to canada its been a passion for me and my father. the mustangs handle slightly looser then most gm or dodge cars such as camaros, caddy' CTS's or chargers, yet the weight is drastically lighter.

in the end, loosing weight does the same thing as adding power. the look of the 20 inch rim is repulsive on any cars. 20 inch rims belong on suv's and trucks... camon man even ricers know this.

Well I guess I touched A nerve in here.... Just want you guys to know that I love all of you no matter what you say... I love ya cause you love mustangs... I was a hard core Chevy nut until I got this 04 Mustang gt....

It will whip the pants (and have) off of a lot of Chevy's and Firebird's (Ive done it) I'm not saying I have the fastest here cause I know there are probally some pretty fast ones here and faster than mine...

I have my own taste and I don't expect anyone to agree with what I like (CAUSE THAT IS WHAT MAKES THE WORLD GO AROUND....) I know 20's slow down any car cause they are heavier... But I like them... But not on the front because that will slow me down way too much..... I don't take mine to the track every weekend if I did I wouldn't run twenties or even 18's But I can still give them Camero's and FB'S hell with my 20's.....

I like the 18-20 look and I won't change it if everyone on this board threatened to get a rope and hunt me down.....

But I have a open mind and thats what some here need to try and have...
