www.tirerack.com has a good selection of tires. But the free shipping with AM has the advantage

yea I will do that. I need the mustang in the middle of them. It says it comes with cobra ones, that one on there now is jus for adverstising.

Ok will I need anything eles besides lowering the car lo get everything to fit. I'm going to paint my calipars red also. I hope I don't need to buy anything eles for the rims to go on.

You don't need to do anything to get the rims to fit... Lowering is not required, just suggested.

ok now I have another question. Now am says that they can mont and balance your tires for free, so does that mean that I when I get the wheels put on to my tires that I don't have to have them balanced by the people who will put my wheels on?

Or when they put my wheels and tires on do do they have to palnce them again?

I don't totally get your question... but ill answer for what I think you mean. Tires don't come balanced. You have to have your tires/rims balanced once they are mounted. A local wheel shop will be doing that for you since youll be purchasing both your rims and tires from seperate places online. Correct?

correct,i just needed to confirm that, because on am.com they said that they can mont and balance your tires for free, i just thought if they did that i wouldnt need to get them balanced with the rim on, but that wouldnt even make any scence since im not getting the rims from them. lol

any way Sean are these the same center caps that you have on yours

http://www.americanmuscle.com/bucecap.html

if so how the hell do you get them on the wheel?

Yeah those are the ones i have. When i got the set of Cobra R rims they came with the Cobra center caps. But i have a set of Bullit rims that i used to have on the car that had the pony center caps in them. I just switched them out. I knocked them out from the back so I wouldn't damaged the paint on the surface trying to pry them out. I just got a piece of wood and a rubber hamer and gently tapped them out.

for people who have 17,18x9 and x10 do any of your tires rub when driving with 275 up front and 285 on rear. I don't won't to get anything that will **** up the tires.

I dont know what kind of rims your running now but something you need to consider is getting you some "acorn" style lug nuts to go with the rims you picked. AM has some black ones that would do just the job. It would just look plain dumb to get nice shiny black rims and have a basic steel lug nut to put em on.

Yeah get the lockers also. all it is is a lug nut with a fancy head on it were ya got to have the "key" to get that one lug nut off. Go ahead and get both of those that you posted. Put one "lock" on each wheel. Then you will have 4 exta lug nuts for spares. It has been known to happen a few times for guys to lose lug nuts shortly after getting new rims. So the spares will help ya there.

Yeah get the set of locking lugs too. You put one on each rim. You have to use the key to take them off instead of just using a socket wrench and will help prevent ppl from trying to steal your rims.

Well that means who ever put them on didn't tighten them enough, they don't just randomly fall off...
