thats what most of us are getting at. THOSE 315/35/17's are what is supposed to be on American Iron...a mustang. Its a muscle car, and nothing looks more muscular as far as wheels, then 315/35/17's out back. its just downright mean looking.

yes it would look different, the skinnier wheel will be more tucked into the fender area. making the car look like its "skating"

+1, anything else looks like riding on pizza cutters. Mustangs have wide stances and need wide tires to go along, skinny tires arnt a good combo for muscle cars.

10.5's FTW!

It takes a while to get used to how huge they are, but in the end they'll seem to be the perfect width for mustangs, anything else on the back just looks too skinny.

sean, the pic with the 315's. car is not lowered yet is it? cause they look kinda strange in that pic, like the car is sitting "on" the rims.

My car is the furthest thing from being lowered...lol. I need to order springs really soon, but wanna be able to get shocks and struts soon after. Would it need to be realigned both after new springs, and again after the new shocks/struts? Or just once for srpings?

My complete set came out to about $1,100. Only bad thing having offset wheels is that you are unable to rotate them. May wanna take that into consideration too... But nothing beats the deep dish in the rear!

****, my MM CC plates are still in the box...I bought them, and when I aligned my car, I was able to get it into spec so I never installed them. but I have H&R Race springs which dont lower the car as much as the SS's do. with those, I think you need the CC plates. My camber is just on the edge of being within spec.
