So I really want to put black rims on my mustang but am getting alot of people saying it will look bad because the car is black. I can picture it in my head, all blacked out with maybe painted calipers to catch the eye or something. Also I am not sure of what size rims to buy...some say 20's but I think thats too big. i like my cars to be low and I think 20's will make it look to high off the ground. I am thinking 18's maybe 19's. Any info or maybe pictures of black cars with black rims...would be great. Open to suggestions.

Ya not too bad...I am definatly looking for black with a chrome or polished lip...not all black. I am not a big fan of the bullit wheels...I really like the five star wheels. 18's? ya thats what I was leaning more towards. Thanks

 

Those look good...they have that polished lip though...I think that's what makes them look good on a black car.

I would stay away from black rims that dont have any other color there with the black.

YA something like that but with a polished or chrome lip...maybe even a deep dish...I have found a few around the internet that I like. Mostly on Ebay. The Saleen rims are definatly the right style.

 

I've seen some really slick looking black stangs with black rims. But like they already said, you need the polished or chrome lip. Otherwise it just doesn't look clean.

seriously he does! I think the bullitts look amazing as is. The pic lance posted with the black saleens look great, but I say a little silver lip just makes them work better on an all black look, but do what you think looks best.

Thanks man. I'm just getting tired of them. I do want to get some True Forged Mach 5 rims in satin black or HRE 505s, but they are out of my price range.

 

Wow. I take back what I said. That car looks amazing without the chrome lip. I guess I've just been looking at bad examples.

The black Saleens are pretty cheap too.It will save you money to do more mods

 

ya true true...both of those sets of rims are about 900 shipped. Were those saleens 18" then?
