Exclamation Pictures Of 20" rims on 99-04 mustangs

I'm thinking of puttin 20" (95 cobra r's) on my 01 cobra with a lower profile tire and I dont know exactly what it would look like and I was wondering if anybody could help me out? also I'm thinking of getting a set of 18" deep dish cobra r's for the track with a thicker tire so let me know what you guys think please! any input would be helpful !!! maybe with a slight drop also maybe an inch, I just feel like the 18's dont quite look right with the large wheel well, so the 20's are just for show and the 18's are for the track and more performance!!!

20" rims for the street and 18 for the track....ehh 20" look good or alright on a 05+ stang but on prior model stangs stay with a 18 inch rim for the street and go with like a 17" for the track

Ive never heard anyone say 18" rims for track performance. If you want rims for track performance then you want 15" welds. And IMO 20" rims look terrible on any mustang besides the 05's.

I'm not a hard core performance guy I mean I dont go to the track alot but sometimes I do and I don't mind trying to have a fast car but I'm not so far into it that I go with a sleeper look or complete slicks or all the race car modifications, I like to live in the best of both worlds looks and performance!!! I just almost feel like 18" still look to small due to the fact that the wheel well is so large, but don't get me wrong I've seen some good looking stangs with 18's !!! I just dont want to put the time and effort into 18's and be disappointed in it.

What if you get 20's and dont like them. You put time, effort, and even more money into it. Having two sets of rims is a good idea. One for track and one for street. If you really want the 20's then get them and sell the 18's for some drag rims/ slicks. Thats the best of both worlds. Keeping the 18's for the strip is pointless, and itll just cost you even more for 18" DR's.

There are reasons why you dont see many 99-04 mustangs on 20's they arent that good looking, expensive, and for performance "blah". But for ***** and giggles I was able to find a Cobra sporting 18's in the front and 20's in the rears. Enjoy. I really dont like the look.

Im getting an error on the pic..

Dont get 20" wheels. They look horrible. If you want the tire to fill up the wheel wells, redue the suspension and make the car sit lower

20's on rubber bands looks retarded. Don't do it... it just looks lame. 18's all the way around for street, 15's for track, or 17's if you want a big brake kit.

yea thats pretty lame if you want a really stagered look 17x9 in the front and 18x10 in the rear would be a hell of a lot better then that

You don't need 20s to fill the wheel well. Lower it a bit and add 18s or even leave the stock 17s. Here's mine that's been lowered and has 18X10 on the back, 18X9 on the front.

I dont even like how 18s look with 17s up front. I would like it if the height of the tires remained the same, giving it a little bit of a raked effect.
