Question Basic Tire Question....

What is the biggest tire you can go with on a 17" wheel? I've heard it was 275, but I wanted to make sure first. Thanks for any input....question is pretty dumb.

the diamater of the rim doesnt matter. I know deep dish rims will fit on 315's and they make 17 inchers in deep dish, so I imagine you can go as big as 315 on 17 inchers. However, 315's on STOCK rims wont do. Theyre not fat enough. But my stockers(before the fr500's) fit the 275's just fine, but I wouldnt go any bigger.

it depends on how wide the wheel is.

Yeah, they give a better stance to the car. Especially when lowered. Lovin' them.
