Default 2003 GT strut bar

I recently bought http://www.americanmuscle.com/strut-brace-9404.html,
and plan to install it soon. Does anyone have any advice? I realized the holes were not pre drilled, and im going to have to rip crap apart. Is it that hard to do, should i bother taking it to the shop? I have a 2003 gt convertible so I hope this will make the body a bit more tight.

i wouldave bought one but im not sure if it would fit over my intake on my cobra, but no, dont take it to a shop, as long as you have some big drill bits, you can do it yourself, just test fit and mark where you are gonna drill and ur golden.

Yea, ive seen one of these on a car before. Might wanna make sure you have some good steel bits because you gotta drill through like 1/4inch steel i think, im prbly wrong but its still thick.

Should not be to bad. Trust yourself..... Test Fit and mark where you need to drill. Maybe get one bolt in at each side ( or all three) and then mark the rest and drill.

i think i may return the 3 point strut brace because I want a 2 point. It will make the installation easier and honestly i think i wont notice a difference, except in price =). The only problem is i cant find a 2 point strut brace for my 2003 GT, does anyone know if the mach 1 bar is compatible?

http://www.americanmuscle.com/20ma1sttobr52.html

Thats it, if anyone knows of any other 2 point bars or if that will fit please let me know.

I'd return the useless thing and get my money back. Strut tower movement has not been a problem since the 70's car's.

I'll have to disagree with that one. Body flex is a problem in any car without a full roll cage. Even my Audi came from the factory with a strut brace, for that very reason. All cars flex, and I would assume that convertibles are even worse than coupes/sedans.

Trust me they do nothing on 79+ mustangs and are just a waste of money. In our cars he is better off getting subframe connectors that actually do work and make the car stiffer and handle better.
