Default Whats different

Alright I am looking into buying an 8.8 rear axle for my v6 that was on a 97 gt but the problems that I keep running in are that the axle is listed as 94-97 and i'm afraid that it won't fit. I am also looking at getting upper and lower control arms at the same time I do the axle swap but some sites say that you need adjustable uppers for the 98 because the regular ones that work for the other sn95s won't fit (some sites don't even mention this)

my question what the hell did ford do different in 98 and how much of a PITA is it going to be for me

Ok so I figured out that the fuel system is different and the exhaust hangers are different but I can't find any difference in the suspension

I also know that the 98 headers are somehow different too but I don't know why that is either

I would do it. If any differences it would be super minor requiring minimal modification.
