Rear Sway Bar

Rear Sway Bar
So I broke the Rear Sway Bar on the passenger side out of no where. My mechanic said I'm okay with taking it off as long as I don't take sharp corners (which I don't). He also said I'm better off going to a junk yard to get one. Although they wont let me take Mustang parts off.
What's a good Rear Sway Bar aftermarket one? How much do they cost and how much do the stock ones cost?

I just noticed aftermarket ones are expensive. Is it worth it?

Every GT mustang 94+ has front and rear sway bars and if you don't want the car to handle worse get atleast the OEM one again. And I hope your not driving around swerving through traffic like a ricer.

Edit: I didn't get to finish my post because I was in a hurry to go to work (now using my boss's computer). What I mean is I don't speed and swerv in and out of traffic. When I go to work (not always just work) people are slow, so I just SOMETIMES cut others off to get ahead of the car, but I don't go speed/racing through or anything. Hell no. Oh and I found a Craigslist ad for a Rear Sway bar for $50, I'm going to try and lower the price. Anyways They will all fit right, the stock ones? Craigslist for the win.

LoL, I didn't need the whole story of your day, just what happened to the car when it broke. You could have just said you didn't know what caused it to brake, good description of what you were doing though. So the bar broke, like snapped clean, and not the clips or bolt?
When you get a new rear swaybar use the stock clips. I made the mistake a while back of trying to replace the stock clips with G8 bolts washers and nuts. Well, for some reason the nuts kept stripping out, I couldn't figure it out, only 41 ft-lbs on grade 8 hardware. I called Maximum Motorsports and they said that in no way do they recommend not using the stock clips for the swaybar, unless it is their adj. swaybars.

Oh okay, so well then I'm okay? You wouldn't give it up, is it that big of a difference?

There are clips that (guess what) clip to the lower control arms that the bolt goes through and tightens down onto. The LCA is just stamped steel, but the clip has a threaded side for the bolt to get snug on.
