Default Alignment Needed?

So today, I decided that while I changed out my steering shaft (which failed since the u-joint got hung-up on the header), I'd also put in poly rack bushings. As it turns out, this was another discovery since the prior owner must have put offset bushings in (upside too since the rack was lowered) when they installed the Eibach springs (they did this but left the stock shocks/struts). Anyway, was just wondering if going from that to centered poly bushings would alter the toe setting. I measured out a 1/16" toe in which I think is fine but thats measuring from tire sidewall to tire sidewall w/ a tape measurer so it isn't an accurate number.

Turns out I do since when I went for a drive, I noticed my steering wheel was at a 15° angle and I know there's no way I could have put my steering shaft on in anyway that would cause this. Pisses me off since I went for an alignment only 2 weeks ago... On the bright side though, on the highway, because the toe is so f'ed up, when i hit a turn, I don't need to turn the car, it turns itself.

Sounds like you need the Firestone lifetime alignment package. I purchased this for my mustang when I got my first alignment because I went to my 18" bullitts. The package includes alignments for life for ~$140. 2-3 alignments and it pays for itself. I've probably had my car aligned 6-8 times. I got an alignment after installing longtubes, springs and everytime I change wheels (from winter to summer and back).

I don't do anything that requires this many alignments, just I lucked out since I keep finding out suspension work the last owner has done. However, that's an amazing deal, though I usually go to a local guy that does it for $50 w/ a coupon.
