Default NFL lockout?

So who thinks the NFL is going to have a lockout this year. If the NFL does have a lockout do you think it will have a similar effect that the MLB lockout had?

I for one will be really disappointed if greed results in a lack of season this year. I am a huge football fan but I would consider boycotting and watching other sports instead.

Ive been following this pretty close because im a big football fan myself. Im really hoping a deal will get done and I think it will. Bringing in the federal advisor was a good idea. I believe they are working on 7 or 8 straight days of meetings and I certainly hope its not all going to waste. Football season to me is like Christmas morning for a little kid. Beer, wings, and football. A lock out would suck but I could never bring myself to boycott the sport.

I am a huge football fan and have been for a long time, but the way the game has gone to **** I'm not so sure that a lockout would'nt be such a bad idea.

There are very few players out there that play for the love of the game anymore, only for the money and fuel for thier "egos". They think they are above the law.

I say **** em, let um cut grass for a living until they figure out that without fans "paying customers" you got nothing! That goes for all the other pro sports as well.

They will find a deal, both sides would have way too much to lose (financially) to have a lockout. And I can guarantee some people will not watch the sport for a while to come after it happens, if it does, so even more money would be lost.

The worst part if it does happen is all of the small business owners (sports shops, bars, etc.) that use football as a major source for their income.

I doubt there will be a lockout. There's just too much money to be lost. There was one in the NHL, but that's a much smaller league.
