Autox happens at CFRC the 1st Saturday of every month unless otherwise noted. The cost is $30 per car/driver and $10 for Spectators. The rules for Autox are as follows…
1. No donuts
2. No burnouts
3. No tires with wire showing; they damage the new asphalt
4. No leaking fluids
5. Bumpers [if attached] secure
6. Exhaust secure
7. Battery secure
8. Functioning seat belt/harness
9. Hood & trunk latch
10. Snell certified helmet (both driver & pass)
11. No loose items in cabin or trunk

Starts at 9am.

I'll go, but I'm not gonna put the car on the track. I just wanna hang out with you guys. I need to get out of Lakeland for a day.

 

I have two helmets people can barrow when they run or if they want to run with me. I wish this was another week out. I hope I can make it. I found out my parents are going to be in town so I need to do work!

 

I'm gonna try to make it, too. I'm not gonna be there at 9, though. That would require me waking up at like 6-7am and I don't ******* think so. I'm not a morning person. Especially on the damn weekend.

 

I wanna go...but don't know if I can for sure yet. I wish it was next weekend. This weekend is cutting it close. And 9 is so early lol. I'd probably ride out Friday night if I do come and crash at Stephen's or something.

 

You don't have to get there at nine. I'll probably head over there around 10.

 

So nobodys been able to give me an answer as to whether or not the meet is still on. Seems like it's a bust. Only people who said they could make it for sure is Valerie and myself. We'll just have to plan it another time.

I hurt my lower back weight training for football years ago. And every once in a while I do something stupid like try to lift alot of weight incorrectly and not use my legs and screw myself. And I did just that at work.

I'm out for 2 weeks from any heavy lifting or spirited driving. It hurts to even push my clutch in.

 

oh yes, i know all about football injuries... sucks man, be gentle on your body for the next few weeks so you can punish it later
