Default Central Florida Meet #5

It's been a month guys. I think it's time to start planning our next one. I thought our last one was cool, but we should be better prepared. No more big-*** cans of beans that won't cook even after we leave them on the grill for damn near an hour.

Well I have no going away parties coming up so I will be there on time, lol. I will most likely drive my MG instead of the Mustang as the MG will be going back to parents place soon and I want you all to see it.

So what you're saying is if we all cruise somewhere together, we have to drive like grandmas so you can keep up

I'm good for any day. Only problem will be rain. Hard to plan ahead not knowing weather.

Dustin, you wanna help me with the nitrous kit soon?

LOL, yeah if I take the MG I can't go faster then 65-70mph max and that's no joke its all she does. It does have some seriously steep rear end gears.

And Sean I told you when you want to I would be happy to give you a hand.

Can't wait to see the MG in person. Was so clean in the pics. Even if it's slow, it looked like a fun car to just cruise around in.

It'd more than likely be on a weekend because I work Mon-Fri. So i'll just ask in advance and see if your not gunna be busy that weekend. More than likely next weekend or the one after.

That would be badass. Wednesday night would probably be less crowded right? If we do decide to do something like that we, just plan it like a week or two ahead so I can take off work.

Hope you can make it man. Ride to Tampa and we can cruise from there together. Then stop in Lakeland along the way and meet up with Val.

Yeah a weekday is never gonna work. They do have Funday Sunday events where they race all day. But you normally get there at like 9am and leave at around 4-5pm and only get in 4-5 runs max. But its fun to hangout with everyone. I hear they do Saturday racing now too. So that might be possible for everyone to meet up and hangout and some of us to do some runs. I gotta get drag radials if we go there, running on street tires is FTL with almost 500ft lbs of torque.

I thought you were going to bring the MG. Did that change when racing was brought up?

That would probably work great as long as Val can bear with our massive V6 power

I would race the MG. But I need like a Kia Rio or something to make it even a race. I need Stephen on his bike to race me.

We would be 10-12 cars deep if everyone who lived here and said they would go, would just show up. Doesn't matter I always have fun at the meets.

Ryan I just finished tuning the MG's carbs and its much much better now. No more jerking and backfiring from running lean. I'm still trying to find the ground problem with the lighting though

The MG will be at the next meet for sure. As long as there is no chance of rain she will be there.

Yay! The Anthony lives!

Just to let you guys know ahead of time, I have a car show on Saturday, September 12th, so that day is out of the question for me. Hopefully, we can make the meet before then. How about some time in August?
