2006 vs 2000
Hey all,
Just wondering who do you think will win a 2006 V6 Auto or a 2000 V6 Manual
Manual
190hp
more efficient than auto
Auto
210hp
less efficient than auto
A kid at my school got a 2006 V6 and it's really sweet, this is just a friendly competition and I don't care who wins, I think he probably will but it will still be fun.
So what do you guys think? Does the lesser hp model have a chance because of the manual tranny?
I'll let you guys know in a couple weeks (he has to get it broke in first)
Place ur bets
Thanks
Cya
Edit: no mods to either except the 2000 has 275's and the 2006 has the stock 245's (tires)

The 06 V6's are pretty quick. Besides the 20 HP increase on the 06, i think they are geared a bit differently. could be wrong tho.

Damn. That explains a lot.
96 GT 225hp with 3:23
06 V6 210hp with 3:55.
Yah. Thats gonna be a drivers race, the V6 deifnatly has the edge on a 2000 V6.
However, do the gears, intake, full exhaust, chip, you should be running neck to neck if not beating him

To shine a little light on the matter, I had a run in with a 05 gt on the freeway, he got on my bumber revving, so he gets next to me, so i let him have it....lol, my friend was in his 98 v6 ahead of me a little ways, well me and the 05 took off, i was surprised i pulled on him, not only that i got bout 2 car lengths ahead, i went around my friend, who said it sounded like 2 nascars flying bye, me ahead of the 05, at about 135, 140 i had to get over and let the 05 by, but he barely pulled ahead of me then, we slowed down, gave each other thumbs up only a true mustang lover could appreciate that oh and I have a 96 gt with a few mods....

No that was a few days after i got my new ECU in due to the old on spiking. so it was a normal v6 with exhaust and intake.....If i had the jugg in the car at the time I probably still wouldnt have used it unless it was real close or i was about to lose money.
