lol I get a lot of trucks wanting to race also.. I actually got a decent one to race me the other night completely random.. power stroke :banana: i freaking love those trucks

 

hell yeah, power strokes rock my buddy has one with a whole banks package, and he's at my back bumper in the 1/4. Oh... back on subject, I also test drove one of those little cobalt ss cars, it was fun to drive... for the 30 mins I was in, but I would never own one and was so happy to get back in the stang, and I felt dirty... Like I did something wrong.......

 

I think those cars are pretty sweet. I've been inside one, so i think they are very nice cars. I like the boost gauge in the a-pillar. If i had the money i'd take one over any srt-4. I hate anything from dodge.

 

Yeah, I kinda like both of those cars....I would get the SRT-4 way before the cobalt. Like Lance I can't get any of those cars to race me....but can I just vent for a second...IF YOU HAVE AN 05-06 V6 MUSTANG, STOP TRYING TO RACE ME....YOU CAN'T WIN! Every freaking where I go some a-hole in a new v6 stang wants to race me. I don't get it.

i can't get ANY 05-06's to race.. they're all "wahhh your modded you'll beat me" im like wtf you don't know that you have way more power than me stock.

 

Good friend of mine got a blue SS within the first month they cam out. His dad works for a near by GM plant and got it dirt cheap. Another friend of mine has a auto 02 GT bone stock. They went out and raced and the GT won just by a little bit, was pretty even up to about 60mph. The ss was manual also.

 

this is why I wouldnt want a auto GT...
I would have destroyed that ss with like 2 car lengths with a standard stock gt..

 

i see every kind of car here but i've never seen a cobalt ss on the road. i figured i'd see a lot of them kinda like the srt4 but to this day i havent seen one on the road. a frined of mine bought one about 6 months ago and i still havent seen his car. see him once in a while but not the car. im dying to race one.

yeah but some kid in my town has got the cobalt ss. His daddy owns a few dealerships around me. He drives down my road pretty often. He is a douche. He tried to run my sister over one time. He will pay.

 

My Girlfriend has a 05 2 door cobalt LS she asked the dealer why there werent any ss for sale around were i live and he told her GM was only selling them near big citys because they were low on cobalt parts or something like that

 

I drive a Cobalt ss in Need for speed most wanted, it's pretty quick top speed after all my mods is like 210mph.. ha... thats about the only encounter i've had with them, other than that they are pretty dumb.

I believe there is a cobalt ss and a cobalt ss supercharged version, which both look very different from the regular cobalt

This is one reason why I am glad to be installing a Novi-2000. I think there may be 1 ricer faster then me in the entire state by the time I am done.

 

the cobalt ss is the supercharged version. the n/a is just a cobalt.

 

I was buildiing one on the gm site and it gave me those options for ss or ss supercharged.........hmmmmmmmm..... not like it matters or anything, I do like driving it on NFSMW though

Trust me you can tell if they supercharged..they whine like a b*tch when they get on it..I dunno there could be some Cobalt SS not supercharged not sure..but I went to a car meet and a Cobalt SS walked all over this ls1..ls1 was my friends car dyno tuned at 355 rwhp..not bad for a n/a daily driver..his car has 4.10's in it and omg I am in love..but thoughs Cobalt SS are fast..dunno if the guy had a pulley change but still I'd take 1 if they werent so fugly.
