Default I hate my car.

So many things about the mustang are really starting to **** me off, all of the little **** is adding up quick and I just want to blow it up sometimes.

And this is all without even considering the fact that half of it is a dark white and half is a bright white, I still haven't gotten that fixed.

But all these little mother ******* rattles that come from the interior, one from the seatbelt retractor on the driver's side, another coming from somewhere near the speaker deck, the rattle of the center console bezel. It seems they even get louder when I turn up the music to not be able to hear them, their god damn noise penetrates the music.

Then there's some knocking sound that comes from the driver's side front that is in sync with the wheel turning, I don't know if it's the wheel bearing of what but I can only hear it when I'm slowing down or driving slowly.

The rear shocks are too spongy and the rear fenders cut right into the rear tires after it's been lowered a little more from taking out the iso's. So I need to buy some real stiff shocks to prevent that from happening.

Right rear tire needs to be replaced, but I don't want to replace it just to have it gashed up by the fender so essentially I need to do those at the same time.

The wiper cowling cracked again, in 3 more places.

On two recent occasions some kind of white smoke has come up from my passenger side wheel well/crack between hood and passenger fender when I've had the car stopped. I've checked everything in the area (HID ballasts, bulbs, wiring, and have not found anything that could be burning)

I somehow managed to get 19.2 MPG on the way home from Gainesville, I was going between 75-84 the whole time so I don't know how the **** that is even possible.

Then the ******* windows. **** the windows on this car, the damn driver's side window got stuck down at the bottom today. So I took the panel off and checked it out, then got my dad to come out and look at it. Well as he loosened the bolts for the arm that the motor spins, he wiggled it and it put some very sweet gashes in my tint, that was lovely. After ******* with it for about an hour we finally hooked up a power supply to it and got it to move. Turns out all it needed was 12 volts of power, which is funny because the 12 volt car battery for some reason couldn't do that..even when it was running. But now that window rolls up way too ******* high in the front and some mother ******* high pitch alarm noise sounds whenever I open the door with the key turned in the ignition. I don't recall this ever happening before today.

So after wasting my last day of summer vacation trying to find out what the **** was wrong with the window all I got out of it was some messed up tint that I have to get fixed and a window that rolls up too ******* high and will probably break if I don't figure out how to fix that.

Ouch, lots of **** man. I know how you feel about the windows though, had my quarter drivers side window break a few months back, and had to get a new motor installed for it. Now its stopped working again...wastes of a good 150 up the ***.

Is this a complaint? That doesn't seem too bad. In the city, I average 16.3 mpg

I usually get 20mpg driving mixed city/highway, and high 20s on the interstate.

But for some reason my car is sucking at life.

i think all mustangs are quickly thrown together vehicles and you get your lemons and whatnot. The most agitating thing about my car is the vibrations that i CANNOT get out of it. I avoid highways because of it, once i hit 55-65 on the highway the backseats shaking and the passenger seat is goin wild and if the windows down on the pass side i can see the door shaking in and out of its creases. BUT when i take a curve it smoothens out. And i have had a seat belt vibration and head thing in the back vibrate, its annoying, and the WORST thing that i hate so bad, is when i start it, the exhaust leak is soo bad sounds like the engines running with NO OIL and the valves are beating themselves on metal. But after it heats up the gasket expands and it stops the ticking, but if i turn it off for 5 mins and start it back its tickin again, its just retarted, and i dont wanna get into changing those gaskets. My car has electrical problems, prob due to aftermarket alarm system. Every day i drive it, it seems like the speedo wants to recalibrate itself, when i got it, it would run 70 at 2000rpm (allegidly) now at 60 it says 2000rpm but when i speed up to 70 the RPMs dont change. I bottomed my car out and pushed the cats up closer to the body so when they heat up it smells bad. If theres a drip of rain on the road, with the saleens its worse and they have NEW tires, u can touch the gas n go sideways. My cars HORRIBLE on gas. I range from 220-260 miles a tank. and thats hitting the fuel light. At night with my headlights and ac on my voltage drops to around 12 and my car gets weak, but sounds bad ***, dunno why. Other than that everythings perfect. 96k miles and havent had to change anything on it but an alternator.

i feel you man! i hate them rattling noises coming from the radio and a/c panel.
the window thing happened to me also but i went on here and searched for threads that talked about it and i found out that it happens when is too hot, the grease melts and gets the window stuck if you roll it all the way down
all you had to do was hit the panel at about a quarter away from the speaker. I couldnt believe it but i tried it anyways and it worked!
i just dont roll the windows all the way down in too hot days.

my windows got stuck down once,, both actually, started the car n moved it then they rolled up.. also, my driver side window will roll up to where the door wont even shut. piece *****! XD anyone have vibration problems like i do? I seen the perfect balance and even helped do it by using math and a road balancer, they are perfect. But my car still shakes.

Go buy white lithium grease and spray this down both tracks with the window down, and then move it up and down a few times till its sliding smooth.

Yep that is what all that stuff is around there. Spray it all down the rubber tracks and the weather stripping it runs down on.

That's how it was on my other Mustang. That damn thing was always breaking down on me. If it wasn't one thing, it was another. I've spent more trying to keep it running than I've put into modifications into my '05! Which is why I ultimately said 'the hell with it' and got my '05 in the first place. I got tired of messing with it. Pouring money into that car when I didn't even know if it would back out of the driveway the next day.

I still drive the '93, but only when I have to go down treacherous roads or when I have to go somewhere where I know my '05 wouldn't come out with a few dents or dings (like a recreational park or something). I know it's just a matter of time before I have to fix something else on the '93. Looks like I will have to get new tires soon. (**** you construction site by my friend's house. May all of you who work there and don't pick up after yourselves rot in hell.)

This is probably the number two reason I got rid of my other mustang, the thing just became a **** box. I mean, it was nicer than a lot of cars on the road, but the problems it had were adding up so quickly. Instead of being happy each time I saw it I was depressed.
