Who else hates it when someone your talking to on an Instant Message says they will "Be Right Back" and not come back with in a reasonable time?

For me, i think that 10-15 minutes is a reasonable time frame, cause maybe they have to take a dump or something.

it doesnt matter if its my mom, my girl, my best friend, or some **** who i just met....if you say BRB then i expect you to BRB. if you dont think your gonna be back for another hour dont say "hey, ill brb".

ugh, this is one pet peeve i have with the ******* internet..

it really pisses me off when my girl does it...i mean it the only form of communication i have with her (besides phone) since she goes to school 3 hrs away from me....i have told her about it before and she still does it...i dont care what she is doing when she leave, cause frankly its none of my business (unless its someone else, but i know for a dead fact that it isnt)...but at least tell me if your not coming back so im not sitting here at the computer waiting....

I do that all of the time, usually just to annoy the person hahaha.

I do believe I was ghosting this place just after the mixedbreed stuff and joined quite a while after....but anyway, the title of this thread fails.

 

Indeed, I was expecting more from this thread. However, I understand the premise of the peeve. The same thing goes for "I will call you when I get home/there"
And its not like I have kids or anything.

Tell ya one of my pet peeves, i hate those fat old people at walmart when im there with my wife and kids doing food shopping you have those fat old people with thier goddamn oxygen carts walking so slow that by the time you get past them your nearly thier age.

I hate people who dont take care of themselves. I dont mean that i hate fat people, hell i have a gut, but i go to tyhe gym several times a week and always make sure im presentable... im talking about the people who straight out let themselves and thier health go to ****. The ones who take no pride in trying to present themselves as best as possible.

I also hate obese people who complain that cigerette smokers drive up the cost of health care while they suck down a Baconator combo meal with a slice of cheese cake for desert.

 

My biggest pet peeve is how people come to our country and don't even bother to learn our language. I didn't run into your country, so why do I have to know what the hell you're yapping about?

Agreed. I don't give a damn if they speak broken half-assed english, as long as I an understand them. I went to get my bosses lunch yesterday at Subway and it is ran by people from the Middle East.
