This happened yesterday on my way to work. It was 6:30 in the morning, I had just pulled onto I20 heading east towards Dallas and worked my way over to the second lane from the left and set my cruise to 75mph. Traffic was fairly moderate, not heavy and 75 mph is pretty much going with the flow. The lane I was in just happen to be flowing better than the other lanes and as I was cruising along, I spotted an '03/'04 cobra in the fast lane. The cobra was stuck behind a car that was doing like 70ish. I was thinking to myself, hey, thats a nice cobra, black, chrome wheels, sounded sweet, and then continued on and passed it. A few minutes later, I see the cobra coming up on my **** really fast in what I would equate to a ricer fly-by. He veered into the left lane, zooms past me then hits his brakes and slows down til we're even door to door.

At this point, I'm thinking to myself, man, what's up with this dude. My window was down and I look over, give him a thumbs and head nod and say nice car. Well, evidently that pissed him off. He rolled his window down, flipped me off and said f*** you and then floored it. I was shocked to say the least. I just shook my head and wondered, what the hell was that all about.

As this guy pulls away from me, he starts weaving through the traffic. Doing like 3 and 4 lane changes, squeezing in front of ppl, cutting them off and such. And I'm watching all this with wide-eyed amazement. The guy was truly a tool and certainly shouldn't be driving, let alone, driving a car like that.

The entire time I'm watching this idiot, I kept my cruise control set to 75 mph. I never changed lanes and certainly didn't try to catch him, but as circumstances would have it, I ended up directly behind him. After witnessing his driving skills, I tapped my brakes to give him a wide berth and me a safety margin. After a minute or 2, I guess he saw me behind him and he slammed on his brakes and slowed to about 35 mph. That action forced me over into the fast lane and when we were almost door to door, he punched it and took off, again.

I'm not as pissed now as I was yesterday, but jesus, what a Fn tool. Idiots like that give us all a bad name. I don't know if he was pissed cuz I wouldn't race him, or because I passed him when he was stuck behind some slow dude. I know for a fact he didn't have his turn signal on, otherwise I would've let him in my lane, like I said earlier, I was checking out his car when I passed him.

All I can say is, too bad he has such a nice car and I hope he doesn't kill anyone in the future.

ROFL, yeah, thats a good idea, my center console is full of change, but to be honest, at 6:30 in the morning, I'm not really thinking much hehe, I barely had any coffee in me at the time.
