I want to open this topic with car movies that are must sees! I know of only a few so this would be helpful to find more sat night movies!!! hehe.
A few good one I know of are:
The california kid, Two lane Blacktop, Heart like a wheel, The first Gone in 60 seconds, American Graffiti and Dazed and Confused (this one is not a car movie but has a bunch of nice older cars in it). Which ones have I left out???

 

How about "Bullet" with Steve McQueen.

:O I cant believe you havent seen bullitt...best car chase scene EVAR!
Dont even bother with the rest of the movie, just go to the chase scene, and then rewind and repeat...oh man is it awesome. Oh and I love Gone in Sixty Seconds, need to see the first one. The Italian Job wasnt too bad either.

 

Bullit is a great movie for a Mustang fan the car chase scene is awesome. I also loke gone in 60 sec,

 

I also like Mad Max, one of my all time fav's, forgot about that one.hehe

American Graffiti is a great movie.

 

the bullett is by far the best car chase ever even though gone in sixty seconds is very close there is no comparison, by the way has anyone seen the new comercial with steve driving the 2005 mustang

 

You should definitely see "The Wraith"!!! Lol......it's an old cheesy 80's flick starring Charlie Sheen. He drives this super, futuristic black car called the "Turbo Interceptor", and he goes around killing some thugs that like to race people for their cars. Oh, it also has Brooke Burke at age 15 as a waitress(small part). Brooke Burke is hot, by the way. Anyways, if you like cheesy 80's flicks, check it out. Classic.

 

I have to say "Bullit" the movie itself isn't all that great, but the chase seen is AWESOME

That was one hell of a comedy!
I liek how he shifts from first to second like 5 times before he goes into third. Or when he is sping out of control for topping out? and his reverse lights or on? and how the floor mysteriously blasts off the car, then vind diesal has no problem sitting there lol. or when he is driving and the car you hear shifting but he is making no motion towards it and i tried to see if I could sit still and shift.... failed miserbly. lol

 

you want real nostalgia see Death Race 2000 with sly stalone fricken great a race where you run over old ladies and handicapped for points. some real hotties in there too!

Have to make note of the black rig with the green devil looking mask on the front from Maximum Overdrive, granite its not a car movie...I want that truck.

 

Gone is sixty seconds (original) rocked. Also Bullitt for the chase scene.
