Fuel Light...How much fuel left?

When the Fuel Light comes on in a 99-04 Mustang GT, how many miles and/or gallons of fuel are left in the tank?

Depends. Usually when mine turns on and I go to fill it up, it'll take anywhere from 12-13 gallons so you got about 3-4 gallons left when it turns on.

yeah same here. i put 13 gallons in mine when the light comes on.

so about 60 - 80 more miles left to drive when the fuel light comes on.

yeah. Keep a gallon of fuel if you are trying to see how many miles you can squeeze out of a tank so your not stranded.

make it 2... it's a bitch to start on just 1 gallon if you run it bone-*** dry.
