I think I must be the only one left on here with a 4x4 stang. lol...(hides face in shame...)
install took about maybe 4 hours. i took my time. if you can turn a few wrenches and have a brain, anyone can do the install...just read and read and read before going into the job. i used 03mustanggt's write up as a guide, but i did a couple of thing different. i also learn alot of things as well.

1) make sure that you have PB Blaster to get all of the damn molts off.

2) make sure that you have a tie-rod puller available (wouldve made the install easier)

3) for the shock bolt at the shock tower, make sure you use a ratcheting wrench, not a socket wrench. you need to hold the stud with something so that you can get the nut off, other wise you will be just spinning the whole upper part of the shock in circles....for ever (took me about 15-20 mins to figure how to get it off)

4) jack the car up as high as you can safely, the higher the better

5) have a second hand....period...would have certainly gone faster with someone else with me.

6) dont expect to use the k member as a jack point any more (at least for me) i lowered the car off of the jack stands and i couldnt get the jack out cause the k member sits too low now. lol

none dont need them for the pro kit (or any spring that lowers 1.5 inches or less: sport springs, frpp c-springs, etc). and i dont plan on getting them since i wont be lowering my car any further than it is cause i think it gave the car the perfect stance (though i wish it was a tad lower in the front, but i can live with it lol)

edit: o yea, forgot to say tint and a dyno tune are going on when the subframes go in too...the place that is doing the install also tints windows and dyno tunes cars. lol

That's cool! The springs are cheaper than h & r's and you don't need cc plates. That makes up my mind. I'm going with the same setup for mine. I too think it's the perfect stance.

I ordered the eibach pro kit last night. I know you said you didn't go with the electical tape on your fronts. Did you use your isolators?

I put my pro kit on mine today. I also left the lower front isolators off. It looks awesome. I'm really happy with the stance. Have yours settled any since you put them on? Does it sit any lower? Just wondering. I'll post some pics tomorrow.
