Angry Auto Trans Problem - Stuck in Park on my AOD - '96 GT

Well I have changed out the Stoplight switch and the brake/neutral cable and it hasn't changed anything. I checked all of the fuses also just to play it safe and the problem is still there.

No brake lights, turn signals and it won't shift out of park.

Nope. What does it do?

The only other thing I was thinking about (outside of wiring) was the MLP.

I will look at it also. You never know. I was also told it was the stoplight switch and brake neutral safety cable. I replaced both of them and still nothing. But I will check into this.

Don't know, but the switch was hot and smelled too. Maybe it's just because it's a '96 and things just go bad.

who knows, it's a crapshoot to predict that stuff. there's a lot of variables that come into effect with wires. could have rubbed against a bold and got messed up. esp. in a car it's hard to tell. just gotta fix the problems as they arrise.

True. It just chaps my hide when it boils down to a sensor. I had my A/C check out today and it was working because of a $28 dollar sensor.
