OUCH! I like how the one guy said...
"That's my girlfriend, the love of my life. The cops can crush my car, but they can't crush my memories."

What?! If this guy really thinks of his car in that way it's probably best they did crush it. hehe.. Maybe his next car should be a mercury mistress... lol

b20 swap with a turbo would beat 75+ % of the mustangs on this site.

Either way..crushing the car is kinda..out of hand.. a few grand in fines would keep them away for a while.

Also, police departments are being sued left and right for this stuff.

lmao...i love that quote....i guess since the law says they can take your car for racin...they can do what they want with it...in ny they usually give the car to narcos....and here the law says they can take your car for driving reckless, streetracin, driving drunk, picking up prostitutes, or unpaid parking tickets...

wow that sucks for them!
but i think crushing the car was unnessisary, impound it and don't sell it back, action off the parts you can sell for good money, that way you amke a gain instead of just crushing a car!

Well... actually... the 456M is pretty slow (for a ferrari)
360 spyder modena's (the heavy vert ones) are really not all that fast...
Both do 0-60 in about 5.5 seconds...
But no one in their right minds would take an integra, no matter how fast, over a 360 spyder =D
But i would like to see a track/streetracing vid of those cars against the teg, lol

did ya'll miss the part that says "They must prove that the serial or identification numbers on a vehicle or its parts are removed, altered or destroyed" ? lol. that's how they're legally allowed to crush'em.

the laws around where i live recently went to them being able to impound your car for street racing. also, i agree with the part about taking it to a track, but where i live, the closest drag strip (1/8th. mi.) is lakeland, bout an hr away. idk where the nearest 1/4 mi. strip is, my guess is orlando (hr and a half) or bradenton (hr or two?). they're not exactly conveinant to get to for me. and i don't think there's an autox track in FL. maybe someone else down here could fill me in on where they're at?

I've seen Integras with B20 swaps and a turbo strapped on get their asses handed to them by stangs.. these stangs were far from stock.. but still.

You want to see a ricer that hauls *** though.. i think its a "Nissan Pulsar" guy came out..it was right hand drive with a turbo..beat a cobra by a car or two atleast.

LOL however hard to believe, a 350 fwhp Honda is more than capable of running in the 11 second range with traction.

That'll beat a few Corvettes and Ferraris if I remember correctly

What these young kids don't realize is the law can confiscate your vehicle if you are busted for illegal street racing. I think that means "staged street racing". Not just speeding beside another car that's also speeding. never admit to knowing who you were racing, And take it to court for a speeding violation.. If a cop asks you after he pulled you and the honda over, "do you know him, or were you racing him? Just say, no sir I was just in a hurry to get to wherever. i did not know the other guy was trying to beat me there. Those kids in that story had a history of street racing and were being cased by the man.. 3 fast 3 furious.. LOL

it's still kinda hard to tell a cop you weren't street racing when ya both haul *** like a bat outta hell from a stoplight. or when ur both weaving thru traffic doin' 80+. i mean geez, the man ain't stupid. even if ya tried any of those excuses, do ya think a judge would buy that sh*t? prolly not. and if he does, i'm movin' to that town! yea not admiting fault is a good start to fight the impounding of ur car, but ya gotta convince the guy that ur not racing, which like i said above, is gonna be hard. and w/the taking it to court thing, hell you'd be lucky to just get ur car back much less have to pay court costs and hefty fines.
