Does the 3650 have a fill hole or do I need to yank out the shifter to fill the tranny?

synthetic ATF like amsoil or royal purple works great. Leave about 1/2 quart out of it so it shifts smooth.

the check/fill plug is on the passenger side just in front of the crossmember about 2/3 way up the side. Have fun.

go to your local parts store and get a "lower marine unit pump"..its a small hand pump that screws onto the bottle and has a hose to will reach up to the inlet...its way worth the $8 cost.

My tranny shifts much better since using the ATF and Lucas Tranny fix at the proper amount.

3.4 quarts of Redline D4 ATF (or 3.7, it was 3.something from what I remember).

Tremec released a TSB that said the proper amount for our Tranny is 3.17 quarts.
