hey i just got an 89 lx fox body and the fuel gauge was workin so the guy said and then just stoped working, i have taken the tank down checked to see if the sensor has power and it is fine so not sure wut to do the car has high km,thanx

 

chances are its either the fuel level sender in the tank or the gauge in the dash.
do all the other gauges work properly?

 

ya all the other guages work in the dash

 

theres a 45 percent chance its the sender.

45 percent its the gauge. and about 10 percent the wiring.

i sender should be under $15...

im too lazy to drop my tank, because my gauge doesnt work either. but my trip OD does

 

ok is the sendor mounted in the tank or is it somewhere else?
