ok heres the deal right now i have a 96 v6 mustang with a good amount of hp, but im looking for a change and want to get something with more potential. i found a 94 cobra super charged with 450 hp for sale in my town comes with drag radials and so on it's for only 10,000 dollars with 50k miles. Does this sound a little weird like it may have a problem or is that the set rate. i'm just curious and was wondering thanks.

That's what 94/95's go for in my area, if you don't know much about cars bring someone with you to look over the car. Check for oil leaks, any signs on damage, the torque boxes. Try to get a vin to run a carfax, if you get it I can even run it for you. Ask as many questions as possible. See who installed all of the aftermarket parts, if he has receipts. If he gets annoyed or defensive you know if something is up.

Test drive it under different conditions, listen for anythin out of the ordinary....good luck

Sounds like a alright deal. All the after market parts don't really change the value of it,and the blower will hurt it. You know its been beat on with a blower.

compression test before you buy... older cars with blowers always seem to be on their last leg. sounds like a great deal though.

The Mustang is different when it comes to Kelly Blue Book on the street, I see stangs go for more than what is KBB specifies as the cars worth. KBB is a toll to use, in the end you need to check compression, any oil leaks, cleanliness of the car and engine, ask the owner numerous questions as stated before.....

I'm sure you can work the price down a little bit, don't act as if you're in total love with the car. Also, even if the engine is on it's last leg...depending on what aftermarket produckts are on the car, you may have everything you need to make a real runner and just have to rebuild/stroke the engine.....

Thats true. I paid over KBB for my Cobra. It was all stock and 64K on it. I'd never pay that for a car you know has had the snott beat out of it.

KBB is a ****ing joke...

car have a dyno sheet? just look it over and go by your gut. hows the wiring and body panels looks? crawl under and around. look for replaced bumper covers or fenders.

took 6 months to find my fox... found a lot of flawed cars.

I bet thats the cheap stuff, not what you'll be buying. You'll need the 93. Its like 3.49 here and thats what I run in the cobra.
