Default i know you guys said i shouldnt....but....

i may end up buying another mustang. lol its a 1996 cobra....ill copy and paste the details

Car has been in 5.0 Mustang, Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords, Ford Builder, Modified, Race Pages, Car Craft, etc. Moroso and Fidanza both use the car in their advertising. Winner of several national shows including Cobra class winner at Fords at Carlisle, Extreme Cobra Class winner Late Model Mustang Club of Conn, and many others. Car is VERY streetable. Driven on and photographed on the Hot Rod Power tour with no problems. 542/410 to the wheels with 16 degrees of timing at 12 lbs of boost. Blower has a LOT left in it. Compression and leakdown tests are good. 180+ across all 8 cylinders. Best time of 11.1@123 with the 4:30s and 470 to the tires. Should have no problem going 10.80s with current setup. G Force was just rebuild and clutch is also brand new. Car runs perfect as it is. Put a built short block in it and run mid 10s all day long.

well in that case....jk

but seriously, i have seen this car in local shows (lives about an hour and a half away from me) and have seen it at the track too. my local board members are telling me that the car is pristine and it is flawless.

EDIT: also, i would appreciate if you guys kept the negative comments out cause it seems that its all that come from these forums anymore.

nah, im gonna either sell it, trade it plus cash to the owner of the cobra, or sell it to one of his friends (he is going to relay the offer to them). you dont understand how much i would love to keep the gt, but i have no where to put it as we already have 5 cars (2 in the garage, 2 in the driveways, 1 parked out on the street) so i have no idea where i would put a 6th car

well that is good then, i thought two stangs might be a bit much. But yeah if you can get this one without breaking the bank too much, then go for it. it looks sick and it gets up and moves!

If it will take some flamers off your back I'll tell a little secret.

I'm probably trading my GTI in for Jetta GLI

Not this on in particular but a black one close to this one minus the grill and the $1600 headlights...

I like it man, but you seem to make a thread like this once a month and nothing ever happens.

But that doesn't mean I don't think you should do it!

That kind of stuff just bugs the crap outa' me...
im with ya on the not tickets, no accidents (cause by me, i was rear ended in my taurus 2 years ago), and no trouble with the law, period. lol

Why should I have to pay double or even triple the average insurance rates just because Im 20yrs old??

I have proven myself for over 5 years! (Started driving on a hardship @ 15years old) Have had absolutely no accidents, not one ticket on my record, have had my own insurance for over 2 years, and have never been in trouble with the law!!

It just makes no since to me.. Where is the incentive for the under 21-25y/o drivers to be 'good'? They won't get a break either way until they are old enough for their insurance rates to go down..

Uggh..
I remember hardship licenses!! I couple of people at my middle school had them when I lived in Memphis.
