Car has been in 5.0 Mustang, Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords, Ford Builder, Modified, Race Pages, Car Craft, etc. Moroso and Fidanza both use the car in their advertising. Winner of several national shows including Cobra class winner at Fords at Carlisle, Extreme Cobra Class winner Late Model Mustang Club of Conn, and many others. Car is VERY streetable. Driven on and photographed on the Hot Rod Power tour with no problems. 542/410 to the wheels with 16 degrees of timing at 12 lbs of boost. Blower has a LOT left in it. Compression and leakdown tests are good. 180+ across all 8 cylinders. Best time of 11.1@123 with the 4:30s and 470 to the tires. Should have no problem going 10.80s with current setup. G Force was just rebuild and clutch is also brand new. Car runs perfect as it is. but seriously, i have seen this car in local shows (lives about an hour and a half away from me) and have seen it at the track too. my local board members are telling me that the car is pristine and it is flawless. EDIT: also, i would appreciate if you guys kept the negative comments out cause it seems that its all that come from these forums anymore. |

No man, it just bugs me.. Because of a bunch of idiot kids in the past alot of us get the shaft and have to 'prove' ourselves, or pay extremely high insurance rates and told we're no old enough..
Granted there are a ton of 'kids' out there that I don't trust to be behind the wheel of a 15hp lawn mower.. Example: badfish But for people like myself that have been driving responsibly, have no tickets, or accidents, or ever been in any kind of trouble with the law.. We end up getting screwed over by the idiots out there that think they are invincible.. That kind of stuff just bugs the crap outa' me... :argue: |

Im most likely going to have to find a way to bug my dad into adding me back onto his insurance policy to even get a '00-'04 GT just for the simple fact that there is no way in hell im going to pay $200+/mo for car insurance.. Why should I have to pay double or even triple the average insurance rates just because Im 20yrs old?? I have proven myself for over 5 years! (Started driving on a hardship @ 15years old) Have had absolutely no accidents, not one ticket on my record, have had my own insurance for over 2 years, and have never been in trouble with the law!! It just makes no since to me.. Where is the incentive for the under 21-25y/o drivers to be 'good'? They won't get a break either way until they are old enough for their insurance rates to go down..
