yep... that's the word from MMR. It's going .020 over. I should see a complete motor in 2-3 weeks now.

With the xe270 cams and 10.5:1 I should see impressive power. I'm starting a pool on the final numbers it makes:

buy in is $1, closest without going over wins. I'm ineligible. Payout will be made on the day of my dyno tune. All payments via paypal.
Here's the detail:
5.4 +.020 (333cid)
fox lake stage 2 heads w/ ferrea valves
xe270ah cams
HPS hardball'r
MMR fuel rails
30lbs injectors
10.5:1 CR with -4.5cc pistons.
ARP fasteners
stock exh manifolds, bassani catted x, borla pro-xs w/ dumps.

Set the redline at 6200rpm (it should fall off on power after 6000rpm).

Very nice R3d. Where are you going to get it dynoed? I'm gonna have to take a ride in that bad boy once it's done.

I'll be getting my dyno runs done at Apex in all probability. I'll have to have them do the tunes for nitrous but I'll do the street tune before I get there.
