Default Idle problem back.....AGAIN!!!!!!

This idle thing is really getting annoying. All started a couple of months back after i replaced the air filter on my CAI with a new K&N filter. After that, the car would idle really low (about 100-200 rpm), then stall out and turn off. I messed with the air filter and the problem went away.
Problem came back about a month ago, I cleaned out the MAF and throttle body and the problem went away.
Problem came back yesterday, so i just took out the damn CAI and put the damn stock air intake back in and cleaned out the MAF again. Only this time, the problem is still there.
The car works when i give it some gas to keep the idle about 500rpm. When driving, it works and seems to run fine while in gear, but every time i switch gears, the rpms drop way down while in neutral. And when i'm slowing down to a stop, the rpms drop and the car stalls out sometimes.
Any ideas?

Sounds like you have a monster vaccum leak or a sensor is unpluged or was damaged. Do you have any codes or is the check engine light on?

Where is the IAC? I know it's around the throttle body, but there's two things there and i'm not sure which is the IAC.

here, now thats not on a Mustang but similar and if you need to buy one, DO NOT buy aftermarket. get an OEM Ford one, oh and change your PCV Valve too as thats the leading cause of IAC failures, not changing a PCV and again, Buy OEM

Thanks, i'm gonna pull it off and clean it out. If i do need a new IAC and/or PCV valve, what kind of $ am i looking at.
And my check engine light did turn on today on the way home. Does autozone or any other place have something to read the code?

I'm getting ready to head over to the local ford and get a new PCV, might as well replace it while i clean out the IAC.
How would i know if the IAC is bad? If it is, i'll order it through you cuz the local dealership wants $110.19 for it.

i have used carb cleaner and brake cleaner with good results because there prettu tuff and getting carbon out of there. I dont think the Tb and intake cleaner is good enough for that. The maf cleaner is to weak and wont work. Try the TB cleaner and see if it works. spray the crap out of it.

Fixed. Put in a new PCV and cleaned out the IAC with some carb cleaner. Works like a charm now.
I'll probably go ahead and put my CAI back on this weekend.
Thanks for all of your help. You guys definitely know your ****.
