holy hell...that does suck for him; but people that do welding for SFC's and dont know WTF they are doing these are the results. Such a shame!!

My insurance company paid to install mines......sucks for that guy though...

He must have welded in one spot just a wee bit too long. Thats hard to do really superheating the floorboard so the rug catches on fire. Melting the rug is one thing but setting it on fire is another.

ida put the ground clamp on his ***** shoved the rod up his *** and flipped the switch

its called stich welding, i dont think he knows what that is. lol sad to see that happen to a nice car.

...even if he was just going with a normal arc or a mig...its pretty hard to catch it on fire.. makes me wonder how high he set his generator ;x

...most smart people and good welders would remove anything in that area that could be a possible hazard...obviously not this guy. I watched a friends f150 on bags set on fire cause the boy doing the welding didnt listen when we told him to peel back the carpet and all before he welded in the spark bloxs.

I thought the factory carpets that come in our cars are flameproof? Like if you try and burn it they just melt not catch on fire. Its like a plastic material i forget the name...polyester?
