I finally found a good fender to replace my old fender that had rust spots in it above the 5.0 badge. Well when I took off my old fender I found something awful. Found about 5"-6" spot of rust on the frame.

 

Is it deep rust or is it surface rust? If it's not too bad blast it out and put some undercoating on it hope its not too bad

For me it is heart wrenching, cuz that car is my PRIDE & JOY!! I don't know many people who will replace the motor 3 times, and change rearends twice just to be able to keep the car

Not sure if it's deep or not. I'm hoping it's not so we can just blast it off and then weld a steel plate onto it.

 

blast it, weld a decent plate on it and call it done

 

you should be glad you found it blast it put a plate on it undercoat it your done better than new. get r done
