hey im new to this site, i have a couple friends with mustang gt's. i have a dodge ram gettin about 11 miles to the gallon in the city. This summer im getting a mustang gt, probably around an 02 or 03. Ill end up doing the typical exhaust, headers, air intake, chip, and gears right off the bat what kind of miles per gallon can i be expecting because im getting different answers from all of my friends, i would appreciate all the feed back because im new to performance mustangs, thanks

depends on your driving habits but with 4.10s most likely better city and a lil worse on the highway than stock

prob 20-23ish overall

 

I have 3.73 gears and do almost all city driving and get about 17 to 19. Welcome to the site Can't wait to see what you get.

 

my numbers are probably high i usually keep it slow most of the time

 

Your other parts will help w/ mileage so you'll either be at the same or slightly worse. You'll definately do better than 11 mpg though.

I get 17mpg in mixed driving... but I drive like a bat outta hell. Every light is a pro-tree for me.

 

Same for me, with 4.10's.
