Default Gettin my first mustang

Hi soon next year I will be getting my first Mustang ever an 02 GT. I am so excited because for the past year or two I have have lived and breathed mustangs and studied and listened to tech articles, saved my money for mods and finally i'm almost there. I am a bit crazy with the fact that I look at parts for a car that I don't own but its part of my obbsesion I am just guessing but I bet i'm the youngest person using these forums. I'll say this much i'm not yet a senior in H-school.

Congrats, my first mustang was an 81 straight 6 LX, I was 17. Just remember stock mustang are not meant to turn fast unless you want your rear kissing the front. Remember this, brake coming in and throttle coming out might save your life or your new stang. The weight distribution is not that great so tires tend to break lose if you step on the gas to much. Just know your stang and its limits.

Like you, I was young when I got my first mustang( and I still have it and am still young) Just be responsible, and you dont have to do burnouts and doughnuts in every parking lot, or race every person at every stoplight. If you dont respect these cars, they will show you their asses, and thats a bad place to be in. I havent even done ONE burnout since I have had my car for a year. Tires are too darn expensive for that foolishness.

Oh yea! Congrats and enjoy the heck out of the car. I did the same " pick my mods out before I have the car, that way I know what I want" thing too. LOL Now I just realize the money takes a lot longer to come by....

Congrats on your soon to be baby. You should have a number of mods to do to it before you get it, so that will be cool. I can understand your love for Mustangs, heck I got a running pony tattoo on my back
