Either way it's a win win situation. Personally, I would go with the Hawk.

By your name, seems like you have a Mach 1 so I would stick w/ the OEM pads up front and either Hawk or EBC out back.

when i bought my kit i had the choice to mix and match rotors and pads. i stayed with stock everything. with aftermarket pads you get increased performance but they are softer so they wear faster and you get a whole lot more brakedust despite what they say. i say oem pads.

The reason why the OEM pads are so good is that they are semi-metallic and are the perfect pad unless your car is race only. Just go to your local Ford dealer and order them. I can't imagine them costing more than $60 per side.

Get Randy on the part number and the likely ford cost. I say you win win as well with either brand. I personally like the EBC green stuff in the rear and have to agree with keeping the pads up front as stock. The pads are really quite good from ford.

Sounds like a good choice...stock is usually the best choice unless you plan on needing a heavy duty pad which WILL require cleaning of your wheels more often...

ebc is very aggressive for the fronts. they beat the rotors to hell and back (and they're killer pads). Hawk HPS squeal like a virgin on prom night.

Stock pads are dusty as hell but they're best for the front for both braking balance and overall braking power on the street.
