Default recommendations on mild sized cams please?

Ok I've got a completly stock 2001 mustang gt, the only thing new is the 3:73 gears.
Ok but I'm looking to add bigger cams soon, but I want recommendations on what size I should get, what brand.. And if I should get new springs..

Just let me know what you all think!

Thank you!

well for a soundclip of my stage 2's click the 35th link in my profile then scroll to the bottom of the page

as for performance it depends on ur supporting mods but i would guess 15-20 rwhp for stage ones and 25-30 on the stage 2's with a big loping sound

There was just a similar thread. I recommend Comp 262ah, Crower 62801-2, or Hitech 2060.

Heres some more info for ya,

Crower, http://www.crower.com/misc/m_cat.shtml 2nd page.
Hitech, http://www.crower.com/pdf/53-114.pdf Hitech Ford 4.6 / 5.4 2V N/A Stage 1 Camshaft and Hitech Ford 4.6 / 5.4 2V N/A Stage 2 Camshaft.

Id get new springs with the Crowers even though it says recommended.

This will probly start a flame fest, but... If you want to be 100% sure that you won't have PTV issues, go with VT.
