recommendations on mild sized cams please?
 

Ok I've got a completly stock 2001 mustang gt, the only thing new is the 3:73 gears.
Ok but I'm looking to add bigger cams soon, but I want recommendations on what size I should get, what brand.. And if I should get new springs..

i got vt stage 2's and got some new springs..........if your looking for a mild cam i would get vt stage 1's which you dont need springs for, im not sure if you even need a tune for them

Well how are the vt stage 2's? And how will the stage 1's improve torque and hp? And how will the stage 2's improve torque and hp?

as for performance it depends on ur supporting mods but i would guess 15-20 rwhp for stage ones and 25-30 on the stage 2's with a big loping sound

There was just a similar thread. I recommend Comp 262ah, Crower 62801-2, or Hitech 2060.

This will probly start a flame fest, but... If you want to be 100% sure that you won't have PTV issues, go with VT.

Maybe, sold my dm6 for $800 so i think im going to get a set of used PI heads and i may need cams if they dont come with em.

btw... WTF is with cars hitting our stang's rear bumpers... u got creamed, eddy's dad hit pauls 05, and today some beaner's car randomly started up and drove into my rear bumper with no one in the car! (F*ing idiot with manual autostart and no failsafe switch)
