Default i want more power what would you suggest?

ok guys like the title says i want to get the 97 running a lot better... i want to keep it naturally aspirated though...

its a 97 gt vert with an automatic..

my mods so far are:
granetelli motorsports upper intake plenum
ford racing 70mm throttle body
mac cold air intake
steeda underdrive pulleys
full bullitt suspension kit (springs, shocks, struts, and sway bars)
ford racing strut tower brace
and for exhaust as of right now is factory h-pipe with 4 cats cut on it, will be ordering a bbk off-road x-pipe in a couple of weeks...

ok guys let me hear your opinions
thanks everyone

PI Heads and Cams will get you 40 hp. More agressive heads and cams will get you as much as 100 hp....and still be n/a.

I agree this is the most worthwhile mod because since your working on the heads you can get a set of ported heads, agressive cams, etc. and make a decent amount of power plus if you go that route your going to need a tune anyways which will help with firming up those shifts on your auto.

ditto on the PI swap. Single most effective mod for 96-98 gt's without going to a blower/turbo/nitrous. You'll be glad you did it once you have.

Get rid of that engine! Find you a '99 gt wrecked in the back and swap that thing you have in there out with the '99.

I think a PI swap in your 97 will actually produce a little bit more power than the 99+ motors, due to the compression bump.
