Boss Stang???
Has Ford said exactly when they are releasing the Boss stang? I either saw a sweet replica today coming home from work or it was the real deal. I thought Ford said 2008, but who knows. It was white with the Boss decals, different rear end, exhaust, rear window louvers, and shaker.
I pulled up next to the dude and got on the throttle a bit and he just looked over and start laughing.

That's what I thought....ha ha ha....that dude had a fake boss! ha ha....not sure why he was laughing, I should have been the one laughing. I didn't think to get my camera phone out cause I was too busy trying to race him. ha ha

ford's gunna have trouble releasing a "boss" mustang. The Shinoda family owns the Boss name and is currently offering an aftermarket parts setup and certification not unlike Saleen/Roush.

there are varying levels. The top level includes a blower which would put an 05+ GT into the 400hp+ zone real fast. I'd imagine he probably got the full package since he lives around here.

I have a 99-04 GT Stage 2 package which includes the blower. There is a stage 3 package for the 99-04 and 05-07 that includes either a forged 4.6 or 5.0 with a twin or single turbo. Any of these is a option and easily capable of over 900 rwhp+. I have been keeping in touch and they are going to be coming out with a R model soon which will be generated more towards an all out race model. Definitely a group of nice cars....

It was actually a really nice looking car. I looked exactly like an 05+ mach would look like, but with BOSS stickers on it. Nice car.

There should be a Boss coming in 08 with a modular 5.0 (Boss 302) motor.

so u mean you buy a normal stang take it to them like you do if it were Ronaele or Cervini?
