Default exhaust opinion

I know when it comes down to it, exhaust is all about preference. I just want to get peoples opinions on something. I like the way my exhaust sounds now, but I have been thinking about changing it a bit. I was thinking either dumping the flows I have now, or switching the mufflers to magnaflow. I have listened to clips of the magnaflows, but the sound clips don't really do it justice. What do you guys think.

Dont change what you have or you will end up looking for the same sound all over again. i wne through several different setups before i ended up with a MAC O/R H-Pipe and a Stainless steel MAC catback. it is the best of both worlds being really loud at WOT and really deep at idle and under normal driving. i will eventually end up getting long tubes and have a sound similar to yours. when i had an O/R X and magnaflows i thought it was barely louder than stock. just my

why don't you pop over to my place some time and I'll slap my Borla's w/ dumps on your car and you can see how you like the straight through sound. My borlas are basically the same thing as a magnaflow and they don't resonate hardly at all. If you're interested in a swap we can even chat about that.

You should still have my digits... gimme a shout.

BTW... I think your car sounds badazz as it is but it's a little loud. The magnaflow/borla type muffs will tone it down a bit which I think would sound really good.

Yeah I'll have to come do that one day. I really do like the sound of my car now, I was just interested in how it would sound dumped.

Were you driving past bernal on first st. or sunol around 8:15 this morning? I'm pretty sure you said you worked in Pleasanton and I thought I saw your car driving by.

at 8:15 I was passing Calaveras on 680 south. I was working in P-town but we moved from there to Sunnyvale in September and then to San Jose in November. I may take a job in Foster City pretty soon though.

FWIW, dumps will sound less clean but a lot more muscular. Dumps on flows with LT's and an X pipe sounds positively devastating.

I'm not quite sure if positively devastating is a good thing or bad thing?
