I see the option at the bottom "Post A Poll" and the Check Box with the "Number of poll options:", but when I check that and select the number of poll options, and do the Preview Post option, I don't see my desired poll, or where/how to lable the desired poll options?

you have to create your thread having wat you wanna say in it. click on the poll option check box. submit tread. then it gives you another screen asking about the poll that your posting. thats it

 

You need 400 posts to be able to creat polls!

Whether he really meant it or not, he's a little bit off. I'm just over 300 posts and i was able to create the poll I wanted.
