Has anyone tried the Granetelli high output ignition coils? Are they a decent upgrade or just hype?

 

Unless you are doing crazy stuff, the stock coils will suit you fine. Also, GMS is total crap, don't even touch their stuff.

 

Well there have been a few guys on modular depot with cars that gain actul power from there connector upgrade for the stock coils. If i recall one guy got a 7rwhp gain with them which is damn nice for the 75Bucks i think they go for. But your money is best spent on real mods for your engine like getting it to breath well with some long tube headers,off road mid pipe,and cat back etc... and so on.
