honstly that is all you should need.
run an ethernet cable from your router to the xbox 360.
plug and play
oh yah, it has to come off the router too, badfish tried to run the router into his PC then an ethernet to the 360, that wont work. you have to go from 360 to router.
you need an xbox live subscription too. you can probably get it online, or you can buy it at any electronics store that has 360 stuff

Don't thats, 100 bucks and not worth it, you'll run the risk of slower speeds, stick to the cable if you can get it. And check some of your games i know Gears of War and some others come with some free subscrptions to xbox live.
but like my old xbox setup i hardly ever got connection because my router was on my middle floor all the way to the right and my wireless live thing was in the basement all the way to the left and hardly ever kept a signal...but now that i moved it to right below our router for the 360 it should work fine...and it still wont be that much slower...my friend just bought one and he is all the way across his house from his router and his is just as fast as if he hooked it up with a cable
it is worth it...running a cord through a level of your house is very stupid...
