Anyone running their springs without isolators

Default Anyone running their springs without isolators

Anybody remove them and beside the car sitting lower any additional noises or effects in doing this?

When I had the regular springs I removed the bottom isolators in the front. Never got any noise. I also removed them on every install I did and never got any complaints.

I've done it on a lot of cars. There is a chance to get dirt and small rocks in the spring cups which will squeak but I've never gotten much. Keep the pockets clean, clean them before you reinstall the springs and enjoy. I've NEVER gotten any kind of wear from the metal to metal contact so don't trip on that.

Going to do it with the Bullitt springs and hopefully my LT headers will be OK. Ill post up as soon as I get it done.

I dont have any of mine in..I just wrapped the top and bottom with electrical tape

I've always thought about doing that, but wasnt to sure if it would help or not. Good to know that someone else has tried it out.

Thats sounds good or that tape that sticks to itself so you wont get glue all over the place.
