Do you OWN (as in, it is all yours and you owe NO money) FINANCE (as in, you still are paying a bank, home loan, or borrowed from parents), LEASE, or was it a gift to you.

I own my car. But i some of the money was givin to me as a gift and that money went to the car as well as the majority of my own money

 

400$ a month for the next 5 yrs of my life with my income right now though its not that bad

i have owned it since the first day we picked it up...and yes...my parents bought it for me...and wrote a check for 12.8k

 

i worked my tail off... made 6 grand... found a car... and my dad bought it before i got the chance... lol...

 

I only paid 10,000 (had 42,000 miles on it in july of 2004) for mine and am well over that in mods, so i could've paid the car off, but I financed it for 5 years, so I would have a nice low payment allowing me to still buy mods. It'll be paid off in 2.5 years (at which point the mods will probably stop for a while). Why will the mods stop? I get to go back into debt and buy a house!

 

Good lord dude, you could've bought an 03-04 Cobra for cheaper than what you are financing the civic for! And if 400 a month is "not bad" with your income you can't tell me you couldn't afford the gas for it. I would love a cobra

 

still owe 6g on mine. got it in april 04, so i paid 8g so far.

 

paid off a year ago. But now I owe $800 on the built tranny now.

 

insurance is over 6k a yr with the civic its 2900

if i owned a civic it would be like 800 or less a year...and the stang is only 1100

Yeah maybe if you financed it for 6 or 7 years you could get a Cobra for 400/month. If you finance a new car for more than 5 you are a moron and cant really afford the car.


But my stang is paid for and the 06 Mazda I owe 6K on it.


Jesus H Christ, why is your insurance so damn high. My insurance for a 2006 Mazda 6, 1998 Mustang GT, and my wifes 2007 Pontiac G6 is less than 1500 a year. I am 26 with no accidents or tickets.

I purchase cars on credit just to have it show up on my credit report. Otherwise, it would show nothing other than I own two houses.

I bought my Mach 1 in 2002 and paid it off about a year later. I traded this in on my 2004 Cobra I bought in July. I owe about $15k on the car. I'll pay it off next summer but I'm in no hurry.

 

Purchased last week. 30k sticker financed 25k.

 

I own all 3 Stangs!!! Try my best not finance, but had to on the '01, but still managed to pay it off in 2 years, verses the 5 year loan plan...
