Dont laugh, remember this is my first time. When to an 1/8th track last night. Made a few runs. Temp was in the high 60's. 1st and 2nd gear were worthless. 4.10s, a KB, and regular street tires dont match Had to let go off the gas in 1st and 2nd. 3rd gear was my best gear that I didnt spin much. Here is my best run. I know I need a lot more practice. It was great running though.

Good runs or not, the point is to have fun. I have always had a great time whether I was running at the track or just there to watch. Sounds like you had a great time.

 

Good stuff. Just so you know a club buddy of mine with a KB GT ran 7.7 last thursday at over 90MPH. Just to give you an idea of what can be ran in a car like that.

 

I wish I could run those numbers. I'll be going to the track more often to get more practice. Over all it was a great experience. I was nervous on the first run, thinking that i was going to choke and stall. After the 1st run I was very anxious for the next run.

 

Jeez a 9.8 @ 80? Im sure youd win 1st place in the burnout contest!
