Default I can shift gears without pushing clutch in ??

I have the dash board pretty much out ,changing my heater core, and I noticed that I can change gears without pushing the clutch .

Did I unplug something or mess something up ? It didnt do this before I started messing with the heater core replacement.

Its a 97GT.

You can even shift while driving w/o using the clutch. Though it isn't something one should do, but I've found out that around 1200 rpm, i can shift from 4th to neutral w/o using the clutch.

My friend does it a lot w/ his Cavalier. It's OK as long as you don't grind but personally, I never shift w/o the clutch. Except for the one time I was making sure my stick didnt come loose again and poped it into neutral.
